We are pleased to offer a unique residency opportunity for makers of fine craft. Studio space is available at the Quidi Vidi Village Artisan Studios in St. John’s, NL.
The Quidi Vidi Village Artisan Studios is an incubator with the goal of establishing full time, professional craft businesses in Newfoundland and Labrador. This supportive and creative environment for emerging craftspeople works to advance their skills along an individualized path of development.
We are inviting applications from makers interested in renting studio space at the Artisan Studios. Timing of the residency as well as studio size is flexible, and we are eager to expose the studios artisans to the diversity of experience which an incoming Maker in Residence can bring.
Decisions regarding the Quidi Vidi Village Artisan Studios will be made based on caliber of work, the perceived value of the resident’s experience to the emerging artisans and the ability of the resident to talk with the public.
